i was captivated
by a man
i met
on the bridge to hindsight
who shared
tales of woe
cautioning
that return visits
should be outlawed
due to negative
reverberations
of wallowing
in regret
and self-pity
stressing
most vehemently
that a one way
round trip
is more than enough
for anyone
